What are the differences between washed kaolin and calcined porcelain clay

1、 The solution is different

1. Calcined porcelain clay: raw ore crushing, slurry ramming, Hydrocyclone classification, flaking, centrifugal classification, concentration, filter press, internal steam drying, calcination, depolymerization, etc.

2. Water washed kaolin: after crushing the raw ore, it goes through pulping, desanding, Hydrocyclone classification, peeling, centrifugal dehydrator classification, magnetic separation equipment (or bleach), concentration, filter press, drying.

2、 Different processing techniques

1. Calcined porcelain clay: The whiteness after calcination is crucial, and the higher the whiteness, the better the quality. Ceramic art requires a drying treatment of 105 ℃ as the grading standard for natural whiteness, and a calcination of 1300 ℃ as the grading standard for calcined whiteness.

2. Water washed kaolin: Prepare porcelain clay into coal slurry with a solid gas supply of about 40%. After adding thickeners, add grinding materials (such as quartz sand, porcelain beads, glass marbles, polyester high-pressure polyethylene beads, etc.) to the grinding equipment. After grinding for a certain period of time, screen the powder, and then pass through the sedimentation stage to obtain.

3、 The main purpose is different

1. Calcined porcelain clay: used to produce filler grade or paper industry building coating grade.

2. Water washed kaolin: can be used as a building coating for porcelain or paper industry.
